Challenge Family Vieux Boucau (half distance)

Iestyn Harrett

The bike course was nice, flat and very picturesque through forestry, interspersed with villages. The challenge is staying in the aero position for the whole 90km as except for the odd village and turn it was all done in the TT bars.

Ironman Barcelona

John Osborn

This year was about 30 degrees and a bit windy! The sea was a bit choppy and had a bit of current but was wetsuit-legal. Didn’t notice the heat too much on the bike but the run was a struggle!

Ironman Weymouth 70.3

Sebastian Reyes

There is only one transition area and you want to stay near there. There is only one road in and out of Weymouth town so try to register on the Friday or Saturday morning as it gets very busy. Roads are essentially blocked full of cars Saturday.

Edinburgh Marathon

Richard Tombleson

The start is very compact for the first few miles more so than many marathons. For the first few miles take advantage of the sides / to get in front. Careful around mile 18, the race goes around a country track that can be slippery and loose underfoot
