Mental health matters #Movember
Triathlon pushes us physically, but it also tests us mentally. So much of this sport happens alone โฆ early mornings, late rides, long runs in your own head. It can be easy to forget how powerful it is to have people around you who just get it. Personally, I donโt think Iโve struggled too much on the mental side of thingsโฆ and I think itโs because Iโve surrounded myself with people I can trust to help me through those tougher timesโฆ share any pain points, and understand that others go through tough times too, both in sport and out. Itโs helped reduce any woes I had quickly and allowed me to be a stronger, healthier person, mentally and physically. This short film is a reminder that while we might train to be stronger athletes, we also need to look out for each other as people. Check in on your mates.
